Where did all the information come from?
|
We announced via email to everyone we had met on climbing trips, at rock gyms or climbing related activities that we were serious about this project. The response was overwhelming. Everyone wrote tons of emails about their local climbing areas and what they knew. Most pages are a conglomerate of the many emails we have received. That information was then verified using various guidebooks and online resources. If info is incorrect or missing we need your help to fix it. Email us with your correction. |

Chances are your local area is either closed or no one has wrote into us yet. You have been chosen to be the one to assist the climbing community, by sending us information on that area. |
Why is it that on some computers I get an animated homepage and others I get a non-animated homepage?
|
The Webmaster has graced us with two homepages. One is animated in Flash and the other is a simple HTML (Non-Animated) page. A script runs when you access Climbingsource.com to check for the Flash Player. If you have the player it sends you to the Flash Version. If you do not have the player, you get the HTML version. Pretty cool, Huh? Also if you prefer the non-animated version just click the text in the upper left corner which says "No Animation Version". It'll take you there. |
