You sign up for a certain number of exposures (10,000 exposure minimum). Your banner goes into a program which randomly displays ad banners on all non-parked pages. Each exposure is counted down until you have zero exposures. We'll then email you to let you know your banner is no longer in the rotation, so you can order more exposures.

Terms for advertising

1. Banners must be 460 x 60 pixels in size. Banners must also be as tasteful as possible.

2. Banners must not exceed 25K in size.

3. We will not, under any circumstances, accept or display banner ads from or on any site that contains "adult", "pornographic", "gambling", "hateful" or "racist" content or content we deem inappropriate.

4. No refunds on lost banner placements/exposures. Advertising equivalent will be given for lost exposures or lost advertising days.

5. Advertising rates are determined monthly based on traffic and are subject to change at anytime.

6. All payments must be made in advance, and payment must clear before your banner(s) will appear on Climbingsource.com.

7. We request the following of all persons advertising on Climbingsource.com: Please, No "pop ups", or other html/javascript tricks that will prevent our visitors from a pleasant surfing experience at our site. Anyone who has surfed the Net long enough knows how annoying these tactics are, and we respectfully ask that you do not implement anything along these lines in the page we are linking to. We reserve the right to remove banners that are found to lead to such pages until the problem is corrected.
